Meet @sigal_rugartnyc visionary Creative Director and co-founder of Rug Art International. With a keen eye for design and a passion for storytelling, Sigal is known for her exquisite collections that captivate and inspire. Her creative journey began in NYC, where she and her husband/business partner @vidal_sasson opened a home decor shop in the West Village, featuring rugs imported from Turkey.

Sigal's natural talent for design soon led to opportunities in apartments decorating, particularly during the holiday season. Through self-directed learning and dedication, she evolved into a skilled decorator and product designer for their other companies. Additionally, Sigal is a gifted painter and illustrator, with a keen attention to detail and a deep understanding of good design.

Her rug creations are gracing prestigious properties across the globe. Sigal's creative work has been recognized by Luxe magazine as a "Style Maker" as well as the ADEX award for design excellence.
Continuously drawing inspiration from various sources, Sigal's creative journey is an ongoing exploration of design, travel, and art.

300yr old rare structure carved directly into the mountain, originally build to store cheeses and wine.
Its in a beautiful sunny town in Lake Como, which Historians trace it back to roman times. Lots of nature, hiking, boardwalks, romantic restaurants...
So honored to have such rare opportunity to restore this @jewelamongtheshores with @_alfredo_vanotti_ and breathe new life in it. One of the perks: design bespoke rugs for this truly to be unique home and host family and friends.
